5 tips for making changing a tire easier.

Your car may need repair suddenly, you need some tire repair tools and some skills of changing a tire.

Tire Tools

Carry a tarp: I always carry a tarp, and a couple of rugs in the trunk. These have a multitude of uses. I’ve used mine while changing a tire as a shelter from the rain, a carpet when I had to lay down in mud beside the car to place the jack or a pad to kneel on while I pushed the wheel on. This is just another reason to always carry a tarp and rug in your vehicle.
Include a headlamp in your car kit: Changing a tire by the braille system in the dark is really, really hard. A headlamp can illuminate the work area while leaving your hands free. Check the batteries often.
Get good tire tools: Most of the factory-supplied tire tools are adequate at best. In particular, the lug wrenches are

pathetic. They usually consist of a socket at the end of a rod bent at a 45-degree angle. The average person may have a difficult – if not impossible – time removing the nuts. Invest in a sturdy, X-handle lug nut wrench with different-sized sockets.
The impact wrenches used by most tire stores tighten nuts too tight for most people to get them off. Request the technician tighten them by hand, or make sure you have a x-handle wrench. Include flares and reflectors to put in the roadway to warn off other motorists.
Check the jack: Most of the scissor-style jacks that come with a car are just OK. In mud or snow on the shoulder of the road, the small base might sink down to the point where it won't provide enough clearance to remove the tire. Think about carrying a board along if this could be a problem.
Practice in the driveway: Test drive your tire changing skills in a controlled environment. If something isn’t going to work for you, find that out in a safe area.

Before using electrical testing tools you need know(2)

Choose electrical testing tools that are suitable for industrial work, then keep an eye on them for abrasions and other damage that eventually occur with use. This way, you'll never have to worry about the failure of a test lead or probe—or the consequences there of.
4. Inspect test lead insulation.
Check to make sure the insulation is not nicked or cracked. With age the insulation material—whether PVC or silicone—can become dried out, brittle and susceptible to cracking.
5. A visual inspection will often catch any parts of the leads that have this problem.
Ensure there are no signs of gaps or cracks at the junction between the insulated wire and the molded banana plugs or probes at each end.
Verify correct voltage rating. Verify the meter and accessories are appropriately rated and designed for the system and equipment to which they will be connected.
6. Look for the IEC rating (e.g., CAT III or CAT IV) on your tester, and buy leads and other accessories that meet or exceed that rating.
Safety checking your equipment in the field can reduce hazard and ensure that all equipment is ready to go. Whether voltage testers or digital multimeters, a quick safety scan before working can also save time and money.

Before using electrical testing tools you need know(1)

Many people use electrical testing tools in daily life, here are some things you must know as followings:

Electrical Testing Tool

1. Use common sense. Before you begin, take a closer look at your equipment and accessories. Do they look busted and broken down? If you wouldn’t loan the tool to someone else to use, you shouldn’t use it yourself.
2. Inspect leads. Before using test leads, perform an inspection to ensure the leads can safely and accurately conduct electricity for the job at hand. Be sure your leads have:
Shrouded connectors.
Finger guards.
CAT ratings that equal or exceed those of the meter.
Double insulation.
Minimum exposed metal on the probe tips.
3. Continuity testing. Use the meter’s own continuity testing function to check for internal breaks. Check test lead resistance by:
Inserting leads in V/Ω and COM inputs.
Selecting Ω, touching probe tips and being sure the leads are 0.1 – 0.3Ω.
