How to test your car battery?

We are battery tester manufacturer, I want to tell you how to test your car battery.
Car Battery Testing & Voltage
It's important to test your battery and electrical system regularly, not just when it's starting to show signs of weakness. Proactively testing it (or making sure your mechanic does) twice a year will help reduce your chances of failure. Most retailers offer a simple free five minute battery test. Use our Find a Retailer for a location near you to get a free battery test.
When Fully Charged, How Many Volts Should A Car Battery Have?
Fully charged automotive batteries should measure at 12.6 volts or above. When the engine is running, this measurement should be 13.7 to 14.7 volts. If you don’t have a multimeter to tell you the voltage of your battery, you can do a test of your electrical system by starting the car and turning on the headlights. If they are dim, that indicates the lights are running off the battery and that little or no charge is being produced by the alternator. If the lights get brighter as you rev the engine, it means the alternator is producing some current, but may not be producing enough at idle to keep the battery properly charged. If the lights have normal brightness and don't change intensity as the engine is revved, your charging system is probably functioning normally. If you’ve been experiencing problems with your battery system and the headlight test checks out okay, you should check whether or not the battery is holding a charge, or if something on the vehicle is discharging it.
How Do You Perform A Load Test?
To pass a load test, the battery must maintain 9.6 volts at 15 seconds when tested at one-half the CCA rating and 70°F (or above). This test must be done with a true load (carbon pile) and not one of the hand-held testers that work off a conductance algorithm. The test must be run with the battery in a high state of charge. Be sure to read and follow all safety and handling instructions on the battery, this website and your battery tester. If you would like your battery tested, use our Find a Retailer for a location near you.
We provide high quality battery tester.

What are the characteristics about wiring system startup?

I work for an auto emergency tools manufacturer, today I share you that the characteristics about wiring system startup.
1. Direct control of the ignition switch starter circuit ignition switch in the startup files directly controlled suction pull starter holding coil, used as a switch to start the relay contacts.
2. Starter motor with start protection control circuit
1) When the ignition switch is in the 0 gear, circuits are disconnected.
2) When the ignition switch Ⅰ gear (not started) power line: generator excitation meter →ignition →coil indicator→ lights.
3) When the ignition switch Ⅱ stalls, in addition to turning the circuit, but also turned the starter relay circuit: battery positive ignition ----- starter relay coil Relay NC Ground contacts ----- negative battery driven starter motor.
4) engine ignition work, boot protection relay normally closed contacts disconnect, cut off the charging indicator grounding circuit, the charging light is off, the generator is working properly.
Engine ignition work, but also cut off the start relay coil grounding circuit, when the generator is working, even if the ignition switch to start the file by mistake, the starter does not mesh with the flywheel, flywheel ring gear and start to avoid broken machine, play a protective role of starter.

Ball joint service: Insights and replacement tips for vehicle applications

The “scissors” or “pivot jaw” type ball joint separator features two forged halves that share a common pivot point. A cupped-out seat engages on the opposite side of the joint from the stud and the driver side of the tool jaw engages the stud tip. As the captive threaded bolt at the opposite end of the tool is tightened, the jaws that capture the joint compress, popping the interference-fit joint out of its home.
The tip of the adjuster bolt features a ball bearing to prevent the stud from digging into the tool’s drive end as the bolt is rotated. The pivot point features two pivot positions (pop the pivot pin out, adjust for a tighter or wider jaw distance and reinsert the pin into the appropriate pivot hole).
The tool is adjustable to accommodate up to a two-inch spread for different size ball joints. This handy style joint separator can be used on various styles of ball joints as well as certain styles of outer tie rod ends.
Using compressive force as opposed to impact force allows a controlled separation, reducing the chance of damaging adjacent surfaces.
This style of tool requires no hydraulic assistance, and it’s a handy item to keep in your arsenal of suspension specialty tools.

Do you know the oil filter wrench?

An oil filter wrench is a tool for removing spin-on type oil filters. These filters are smooth, cylindrical canisters with knurling on the bottom that are difficult to grip, especially when they are oily.

One common type of wrench is shown on the right. The loop of chain is placed around the filter, and the bar is turned anticlockwise by hand until the chain wraps itself tightly around the filter. A socket wrench or adjustable spanner is then used to turn the hexagonal bar further in the same direction. This increases the tension in the chain, which bites into the soft metal casing of the oil filter which helps prevent slippage.
Another type uses a metal band that is attached at both ends to a handle. The looped band is placed around the filter and the handle is turned anticlockwise, which puts tension on the band, causing it to grip the filter.
A third common type of wrench utilizes a metal or plastic cup that is shaped much like a socket. The cup is placed on the end of the filter, which engages the knurling. A socket or wrench is then used to loosen the filter. Volkswagen Group and BMW cars require this type of wrench to remove their filters (or the lid of the filter housing, where a non-cartridge filter is used).

How clean the engine compartment?

1. Cleaning the engine compartment debris manually
Before the official clean-up, we need the engine compartment of leaves and other debris cleared.
2. Idle completely shut down for about 5 minutes after
The reason sure the car idling for 5 minutes, because after the engine idle for some time, the car will make the engine oil temperature becomes soft, thus easier to clean. But also there is a flaw, that is after the car the temperature rises, the owner at the time of cleaning can easily be burned.
3. The cleaning agent is sprayed onto the surface of the engine
Since the engine in use for some time, there is usually grease clung to it, at the time of cleaning generally requires the use of special cleaning agents. Therefore, this step is to spray the cleaning agent to the surface of the engine.
4. Sponge
After spraying the engine cleaner, car owners will use a sponge to scrub the entire engine compartment.
5. Rinse with water cannons
The final step is the use of engine washing gun to clean the engine compartment of the car. Of course, if you still worried about a short circuit in the engine compartment of electronic devices, you can use wet towel or a dry towel.
